SAFETY CASE & SAFETY CASE REPORTS

BACKGROUND

From 1st April 2024, the BSR has begun to contact Principle Accountable Persons of registered HRBs, directing them to apply for their Building Assessment Certificates.

When the BSR instructs the PAP to apply for a BAC, they will have 28 calendar days to submit their application, including a robust Safety Case and Safety Case Report.

All Principle Accountable Persons of occupied, Higher-Risk Buildings must now be instructing their Safety Case & Safety Case Reports, if not already done so.
